About the event
With the kind donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust
The 'Elderly Navigation Carer Support Programme' was officially launched in April 2024
in the heart of Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi districts
at the Metroplaza in Kwai Fong, a carer support centre was established
to provide timely and appropriate support for carers
and flexible respite care services for care recipients in need;
while raising community awareness of carers
to promote a carer-friendly community.
With an ageing population in Hong Kong
more and more people are becoming 'carers'
you, I and he have the opportunity to become a 'carer'
To promote public understanding of carers
and to create a carer-friendly community
we also want to provide a platform for carers
to share their daily care routines and emotional journeys.
The Jockey Club Carer Centre (Kwai Fong) will hold a carer artwork exhibition
to narrate the 'care' stories of different carers.
You are cordially invited to savour every 'care' story and embark on a journey that touches the soul.
During the exhibition, different art creation workshops will be held
so that members of the public and carers can take care of their 'care' matters
and also take time for self-healing!
No tickets are required and admission is free. We look forward to seeing you there!
